Description
The XE0068DT is an FCC registered
telephone line interface which includes a
DTMF transmitter, decoder and call progress
monitor. FCC rules limit transmit level and
require a 2-second billing delay at the start
of each call. The XE0068DT does not
merely clamp the incoming signal which
could cause signal distortion; but, uses an
Automatic Gain Control circuit to optimize
the transmit level over a wide range of input
signal levels. The integral DTMF transmitter,
decoder, and call progress monitor makes
the XE0068DT ideal for network signalling
applications.
