The

PD78F9831 is an 8-bit single-chip microcontroller (for LCD driving) of the 78K/0S series.
The

PD78F9831 is produced by replacing the internal ROM of the

PD789830 with larger flash memory.
Flash memory can be written or erased electrically without having to remove it from board. Therefore, the
碌
PD78F9831 is best suited for prototypes in system development, low-volume production, or systems likely to be
upgraded frequently.
