Type 324
Strain and Load Indicator
The Type 324 Portable Load Indicator is suitable for use with full bridge load, torque,
pressure and strain sensors. It is ideal for use as a portable load indicator in weighing and
testing applications with load links, load cell shackles and compression load cells. It can
be supplied calibrated in micro-strain for use as a strain gauge balance indicator.
The Indicator has switch selectable ranges and fine adjustment for span and zero, as well
as decimal point selection, this allows the indicator to be scaled to read in the required
engineering units for any sensor. The standard span ranges are from 0.25mV/V up to
7.5mV/V and sensor zero offsets of up to 2.5mV/V can be removed.
It has rechargeable batteries and is supplied complete with a mains adaptor/charger. The
Indicator has an auto power off function after 5 minutes to enhance battery life on-site.
An optional carrying case is also available.
