Description
The PT7714 Excalibur鈩?power module
is a 20-A integrated switching regulator
(ISR) housed a 27-pin space-saving copper
package. Operating from a 3.3V-input bus,
the PT7714 produces a tightly regulated
supply voltage that is programmable
over the range, 0.8V to 1.575V. The
output voltage is selected via a 5-bit
input code in incremental steps of 25mV.
This regulator is suitable for appli-
cations that employ the latest micropro-
cessor and DSP products that require
core supply voltages as low as 0.8V.
The PT7714 incorporates output
short-circuit protection, and a differential
remote sense to compensate for voltage
drop between the regulator and load.
