Emulator (ICE+PM board) Installation procedure:
1. The ICE-2000 is necessary in this procedure.
2. Plug PM board with ICE-2000 board (PM is on the top & ICE is at the bottom)
via IR1&IR2.
3. Connect with Target board via CN1 and CN2 connector by flat cable
4. Plug in Extent Printer cable to Printer Port
5. Remove two Program EPROM(M27C1024).
If DATA ROM is necessary, leave the DATA EPROM (M27C160/M27C800)
on the PM board.

Check the JP9 of PM board is 鈥淥PEN鈥?
JP2& JP3 is 鈥淪HORT鈥?/div>
7. Plug in power jack (+5V) on the
ICE board power jack,
and switch on.
The RED LED is on. Check the VDD & VDDA >3.3V.
7. RUN ELAN IDE program, and press
(Connect to ICE, wait a few seconds)
8. Open project---鈥淢elody鈥?recommand) , and execute 鈥淩ebulid ALL鈥?/div>
9. Press
to initialize ICE
10. Press
to execute 鈥淕O鈥?(wait a few seconds until

to execute 鈥淭imer GO鈥?,this function is used for displaying LCD
RAM
on the PC monitor. And the LCD display will be updated every 1 seconds.)
11. When you want to stop execution, press

12. If any error happen, press
, and run from STEP 7 again.
13. If STEP 10 not work, disconnect Printer port and DC power , and re-connect.
Then run from STEP 7 again.
