Description:
The NTE874 is a monolithic bipolar/I
2
L integrated circuit digital sync system designed for use in con-
sumer TV applications for color/monochrome receivers or monitors. This device takes the composite
video input signal in combination with the on鈥揷hip master鈥搒can oscillator to provide both horizontal
drive and vertical deflection output signals.
Other on鈥揷hip functions include sync separator, horizontal APC, horizontal/vertical count鈥揹own cir-
cuitry, vertical ramp generator, and horizontal drive circuit (Pulse鈥揥idth Modulator).
The NTE874 features dual鈥搈ode operation and accepts either standard or non鈥搒tandard video sig-
nals. An automatic mode鈥搑ecognition system forces the operation into the asynchronous mode for
non鈥搒tandard sync signals.
Intended for use with 525鈥搇ine systems, the NTE874 is supplied in the 28鈥搇ead dual鈥搃n鈥搇ine plastic
package.
