INTRODUCTION
KS0070B is a dot matrix LCD driver & controller LSI which is fabricated by low power CMOS technology.
It is capable of displaying 1 or 2 lines with the 5脳7 format or 1 line with the 5脳10 dots format.
FUNCTIONS
鈥?Character type dot matrix LCD driver & controller
鈥?Internal driver: 16 common and 80 segment signal output
鈥?Easy interface with 4-bit or 8-bit MPU
鈥?Display character pattern: 5脳7 dots format (192 kinds) & 5脳10 dots format (32 kinds)
鈥?The special character pattern is directly programmable by the character generator RAM.
鈥?A customer character pattern is programmable by mask option.
鈥?It can drive a maximum of 80 characters by using the KS0065B or KS0063B externally.
鈥?Various instruction functions
鈥?Built-in automatic power on reset
鈥?Driving method is A-type (Line inversion)
