2. Composition/Information on Ingredients
Resin component contains:
100% reaction product bisphenol-A-(epichlorhydrin) epoxy
resin ( average MW<700) Symbol Xi N
R36/38 Irritating to eyes and skin
R43 May cause sensitisation by skin contact
R51/53 Toxic to aquatic organisms, may cause long term adverse
effects in aquatic environment
Hardener component contains:
Tris 2,4,6-(dimethylaminomethyl)phenol 5-10% Symbol Xn
R22 Harmful if swallowed
R36/38 Irritating to eyes and skin
3. Hazards Identification
May cause sensitisation by skin contact. Misuse may lead to dermatitis.
4. First Aid Measures
Inhalation: Provide patient with fresh air and seek medical advice.
Eye contact: Immediately irrigate thoroughly with water and obtain medical advice.
Skin contact: Immediately wipe off excess with a paper towel, then clean with resin
removing cream or hand cleanser. DO NOT use solvents.
Finally wash with soap and water. Seek medical advice if there is any cause for
concern.
Ingestion: DO NOT induce vomiting. Give plenty of water to drink.
Obtain medical advice.
5. Fire Fighting Measures
Use sand or earth to apply to the fire if there is a danger of spreading or flowing.
Extinguish with foam or dry powder extinguisher.
DO NOT use water.
