The Micro-Fit 3.0 Extraction Tool is a simple hand tool used to remove a Micro-Fit terminal (P.N. 43030 or 43031)
from a Micro-Fit housing (P.N. 43025 or 43020).
OPERATION:
1.
Insert the tip of the tool down side "A" or "B", on the mating end of the plug or receptacle, to the stop.

(See Fig. 1)
Rotate tool clockwise then counter-
clockwise approximately 25潞 to 30潞 in each direction, once or twice. (See Fig. 2)
Repeat steps 1 and 2 on opposite side of terminal.

Pull on the wire and remove the terminal from the housing.
NOTE:
When a terminal is removed in this manner the locking tangs are damaged and the terminal is not
reusable.
