The

PD178024GC-051 is an 8-bit CMOS microcontroller for use in digital tuners designed to receive the

European and USA FM, MW, and LW bands. It incorporates a prescaler, PLL frequency synthesizer, and IF counter.

The device has various CD player control functions and enables the configuration of a high-performance, multi-

function FM/MW/LW tuner with CD player, such as an automotive stereo system, using a single chip.
